Can I bring the mail I already have?
Yes. Upload an export of the old mailbox in Settings under Import and it arrives threaded and dated as it was. New mail lands here from the moment the records resolve.
Does this stop every way a sender can track me?
No. The one pixel image comes out and remote images stay unloaded until you allow them, but trusting a sender fetches their images from their own server, and that request is visible to them.
Can mail still land in the mailbox I use now?
Yes. Point one address, or everything the domain accepts, at an outside mailbox. Forwarding starts only after that destination clicks its confirmation link.
