Multiple domains

Point several domains at one inbox, subdomains included.

Details

  • DNS records are generated for you and verified from the settings screen. It makes no difference where the domain is registered or who runs its DNS: publishing the records is the whole of it, the domain goes green once they resolve, and mail arrives on the same records that turned it green. Connect Cloudflare on the Providers tab instead and one press of Sync writes all of them into your zone at once, the MX included, and verifies the domain as it finishes. Anything already at those names is replaced, except the SPF record, which keeps the other senders it lists.
  • A domain that already receives mail somewhere else moves here on that sync, because its MX records are replaced. Be ready for mail to arrive here before you press it.
  • Plans name how many domains they include (one on Free, five on Starter, ten on Business, unlimited on Enterprise), and there is nothing to buy per domain. The caps are enforced wherever the install can sell a plan; an install with no plans configured has nothing to enforce and refuses nothing.
