Audiences
Contacts, sorted into lists you send to.
Make a named list, fill it by pasting addresses or loading a CSV file, and watch it grow. Every contact also sits in All contacts.
In short
What is an email audience?
An audience is a named list of contacts you send the same email to, such as customers or beta testers. Here each list has a name and a description, and one contact can belong to several.
How it works
Paste addresses or load a CSV
The import works out whether a file uses commas, semicolons or tabs and finds the email column under its usual names. Invalid rows are skipped, repeats count once, and new addresses become contacts.
Subscribed or Unsubscribed
Somebody who follows the unsubscribe link in an email sent to a list is unsubscribed from every list that email went to. Signing up again through a form subscribes them again.
Watch each list grow
Growth charts contacts over time, people added, unsubscribes, the busiest days and which lists grew most, over a window from an hour to all time.
What you get
In the product today
All contacts stays put
Every contact joins it, so one list always holds everyone.
Download as CSV
Each address comes back with its name, the date it was added and when they last wrote.
On the API too
The REST API, the SDK, the command line and the MCP server work with the same lists.
Good practice
Getting the most out of it
- 01
Name a list for who is in it
A name like Customers or Beta testers says who is inside, so the right list is easy to pick when you send.
- 02
Keep the column names
The import finds the email column by its usual names, and takes a name, or a first and a last name, when the file has them.
- 03
Read Growth after a send
Unsubscribes are charted over time, so a jump right after a send is a reason to look at that email again.
