Knowledge base
Your company's facts, ready for the AI.

Add notes, files and web pages under Workspace → Knowledge base, for the whole workspace, one domain or one address. Suggested replies, drafts and the assistant use them when they write for you.

In short

What is an AI knowledge base?

An AI knowledge base is the reference material the AI reads before it writes for you, such as your prices and your policies. You write down what your company has decided, and the AI draws on it when it writes.

How it works

Notes, files and web pages

Write a note, upload a file or add a web page. Files and pages are read in the background, and the AI can use them once they are ready.

Kept at the right level

Each item belongs to the whole workspace, one domain or one address, so a fact that holds for one brand can stay with its domain.

See what a draft drew on

A draft lists the knowledge items it used, so you can tell where a fact came from. The assistant shows when it searched the knowledge base.

What you get

In the product today

Pinned notes, every time

A pinned note goes into every prompt at its level, whatever the message is about.

Documents and images

Upload PDF, Word, Excel, OpenDocument, CSV, HTML, XML, Markdown and text files, as well as images.

On the API and MCP

The REST API and the MCP server use the same knowledge base as the app.

Good practice

Getting the most out of it

  1. 01

    Pin what always applies

Keep pins short, and keep them for facts that hold for every message, such as your support hours.

  2. 02

Put each fact at its level

Keep a price that one domain charges on that domain, and the facts every brand shares on the whole workspace.

  3. 03

Add the pages that hold your answers

Add the pages people ask about most, such as pricing or returns.
