Rewrite with AI
Other ways to say it, side by side.

Ask for your message shorter, longer, rephrased, more formal or more casual, or say what should change. Three versions appear beside what you have now, and Use this puts one in its place.

In short

What is an AI email rewriter?

An AI rewriter takes text you have already written and gives it back in other versions: shorter, longer or in another tone. The useful ones change how a message reads and leave what it says alone.

How it works

One menu for body and subject

The ⋯ in the AI bar under the body opens it, and so does the sparkle at the end of the subject row on a new message. Pick a direction, or tell it what to change in your own words.

Three versions, or five

They sit beside what you have now, each with its length. Use this puts one in place of the whole body or subject, Refine asks again from it, and More options writes another set.

What each direction keeps

Shorter cuts filler but keeps every fact, commitment and question. Longer adds only detail that was already implied, and rephrase keeps the meaning, the length and the tone.

What you get

In the product today

In your writing style

Every version follows your writing style, whichever direction you pick.

Reads the thread first

On a reply, it reads the last eight messages of the conversation before it rewrites.

One AI action a set

Each set of versions spends one AI action, and nothing is stored.

Good practice

Getting the most out of it

  1. 01

    Get the facts down first

It rewrites what is already there, so put in the figures and dates before asking for another tone.

  2. 02

    Say what should change

Tell it what to change takes your own words, such as asking it to mention the deadline.

  3. 03

    Refine the closest one

When a version is nearly right, Refine asks again from it instead of starting over.
