Addresses and mailboxes

With catch-all on, an address exists as soon as something is sent to it. Listing one up front is about naming it, not permitting it.

What to do

  1. Settings → Mailboxes lists every address that has received something.
  2. Add one early to give it a label before the first message arrives.
  3. Turn one off to start bouncing its mail, the only switch here that changes routing.
  4. Free includes 10 addresses on its one domain. Starter, Business and Enterprise have as many as you like.

The cap counts addresses you add yourself. One that catch-all brought into being when mail arrived for it does not count against it. It is a record of what was delivered, not a mailbox you asked for, so a free workspace never stops receiving because it ran out of slots.
