Migrate from Proton Mail

# Move from Proton Mail to OpenEmail.

Run Proton's Export Tool, zip the folder it writes and upload it here. Folders, labels, threads and dates come across as they were. Then point your domain at OpenEmail, and new mail follows.

## Four steps, and your mail is here.

1. 01

   Run the Export Tool

Download Proton's Export Tool for Windows, macOS or Linux, sign in and choose Backup. It writes every message to your computer, decrypted.
2. 02

   Choose its address

Add your domain here, or pick an address you already have. The mail is filed under it.
3. 03

   Zip and upload

Compress the folder the tool wrote, then open Migrations, choose From a file and upload the .zip. You can close the page while it runs.
4. 04

   Move your domain

On a custom domain, publish the DNS records OpenEmail lists, and new mail arrives here instead of at Proton.
