# Move from HEY to OpenEmail.

Export your HEY mail as one .mbox file and upload it here, threaded and dated as it was. Then point your domain at OpenEmail, and new mail follows.

## Four steps, and your mail is here.

   Export from HEY
   
   Open app.hey.com/accounts on a computer and choose Export Your Data. HEY emails you when the file is ready.
2. 02
   
   Choose its address
   
   Add your domain here, or pick an address you already have. The mail is filed under it.
3. 03
   
   Upload the .mbox
   
   Open Migrations, choose From a file and upload it, up to 100 GB. You can close the page while it runs.
4. 04
   
   Move your domain
   
   On HEY for Domains, publish the DNS records OpenEmail lists, and new mail arrives here instead.
