Migrate from Gmail

# Move from Gmail to OpenEmail.

Export your mail with Google Takeout and upload it here. Labels, threads and dates come across as they were, then bring your domain over or forward Gmail here.

## Four steps, and your mail is here.

1. 01

   Export with Takeout

At takeout.google.com choose Mail only and a .zip. Google emails you the links when the export is ready, often in several parts.
2. 02

   Choose its address

Add your domain here, or pick an address you already have. The mail is filed under it.
3. 03

   Upload every part

Open Migrations, choose From a file and upload all the parts in one import, up to 100 GB each. You can close the page while it runs.
4. 04

   Bring your address

On Google Workspace, publish the DNS records OpenEmail lists. On a gmail.com address, forward new mail here from Gmail's settings.
