In short

## What is an email signature?

An email signature is the few lines at the foot of a message that say who sent it: a name, a title, often a logo. No mail standard adds one, so the app that sends the message does.

How it works

## Added where the sends meet

The composer, the assistant and a scheduled send all pass one point on the way out, and that is where the signature goes on.

## Above the quoted message, not under

On a reply or a forward the composer marks where your words end, and the sign-off goes there, not under the quoted thread.

## One for all, or one per address

All addresses holds the signature every address uses. Give one address its own and everybody sending from it signs with that.

## What survives a save

Saving cleans the HTML, so the preview is what the recipient gets.

   Upload it at double the width you set, so it stays sharp on high-density screens.
