## What are email keyboard shortcuts?

A shortcut ties one key to one action, so mail takes keypresses instead of clicks. A command palette is one field that finds any page or command by name.

How it works

## One field to go anywhere

⌘K opens it, as does a slash in the mailbox. A few letters reach a folder or a setting, and Enter on anything else searches your mail.

## The list moves under your hands

The arrow keys, or J and K, open each thread in the reading pane as you land on it. Hold one down to run past without opening anything.

## Two keys, one jump

G then I lands in the inbox, G then C in contacts. The second key has one second to arrive.
