# Create an account

The address you sign up with identifies you. It is not the mailbox you will read. That comes from the domain you connect next.

## What to do

1. Sign up with Google, GitHub, or an email and password.
2. Give the workspace your name when asked. You can change it later in Settings → Account.
3. Skip the setup steps if you want to look around first; nothing is lost by doing them later.
