# Take a thread out of the Bin

Back to the inbox, out of the Bin and out of Spam.

`POST /threads/{id}/restore`

## POST /threads/{id}/restore

Back to the inbox, out of the Bin and out of Spam.

## Example

Needs `threads:write`. It is what Restore from Bin and Move to inbox do in the app, and the undo of `POST /threads/{id}/trash`. Calling it again changes nothing.

**curl**

```
curl -X POST "$OE/threads/thr_7c1e4a90/restore" -H "$AUTH"
```

**Response**

```
{ "object": "thread", "id": "thr_7c1e4a90", "restored": true }
```

> A thread that was archived before it went to the Bin comes back to the inbox, not to the archive.
