# List signatures

Every signature in the workspace, or the signatures of one address.

## GET /signatures

Every signature in the workspace, or the signatures of one address.

## Example

Needs `settings:read`. An address keeps a list of named signatures. Without `address` the list holds every address, sorted by address and then oldest first. With it, only the signatures of that address, or of a catch-all written `*@acme.com`.

> `isDefault` marks the signature new mail from the address carries, and `isReplyDefault` the one its replies and forwards carry. At most one signature of an address holds each, one signature can hold both, and an address may have neither.

> The list pages with `limit` and `cursor`, as every list does. An address that only ever had the single signature of earlier versions shows it as one signature called `Signature`, default for both.

> A key or an app limited to particular addresses or domains reaches only the signatures of the addresses it holds, and those of a catch-all only when it holds the domain whole.
