# Delete a form

Deletes the form and every submission it holds. Its page and embed stop working at once. The people it added stay in your contacts and audiences.

`DELETE /forms/{id}`

## DELETE /forms/{id}

Deletes the form and every submission it holds. Its page and embed stop working at once. The people it added stay in your contacts and audiences.

## Example

Needs `forms:write`. An OAuth app is asked for a verification code first, and an API key never is.

**curl**

```
curl -X DELETE "$OE/forms/frm_3b9d2e7a1c4f80d56e2a9b14" -H "$AUTH"
```

**Response**

```
{ "object": "form", "id": "frm_3b9d2e7a1c4f80d56e2a9b14", "deleted": true }
```

> There is no undo. Pause the form instead when you may want it back.
