# Decline a proposed time

Keeps the original time of a meeting you organise after a guest proposed another one, and tells the guest.

`POST /calendar/events/{id}/decline-proposal`

## POST /calendar/events/{id}/decline-proposal

Keeps the original time of a meeting you organise after a guest proposed another one, and tells the guest.

## Example

Needs `calendar:write` and `emails:send`. `attendee` is the guest whose proposal you decline, and `from` the address the answer is sent from when it is not the organising address.

**curl**

```
curl -X POST "$OE/calendar/events/cal_3f9a1c7e5b2d48a06c1e9f4b/decline-proposal" -H "$AUTH" -H 'content-type: application/json' -d '{ "attendee": "ada@example.com" }'
```

**Response**

```
{
  "object": "calendar_event",
  "id": "cal_3f9a1c7e5b2d48a06c1e9f4b",
  "summary": "Planning",
  "attendees": [
    {
      "object": "calendar_attendee",
      "email": "ada@example.com",
      "name": "Ada",
      "partstat": "TENTATIVE",
      "proposedStart": null,
      "proposedEnd": null
    }
  ]
}
```

> A guest who has not proposed a new time is a 404 `proposal_not_found`, and an event somebody else organises is a 403 `not_organizer`.

> To take the proposed time instead, change the event with `PATCH /calendar/events/{id}`, which sends everyone the update.
