## What the assistant can do in OneDrive

A few of the things it can do once OneDrive is connected.

### Look things up

These run as soon as you ask.

- Get Drive

Retrieves detailed information about a drive, including its properties and relationships
- Get DriveItem by Sharing URL

Resolve a OneDrive/SharePoint sharing URL (or shareId) to a DriveItem with driveId and itemId
- Get Drives Following

Retrieves metadata for a specific driveItem (file or folder) that is being followed by the signed-in user
- Get Group Drive

Retrieve the document library (drive) for a Microsoft 365 group
- Get Item Metadata

Retrieves metadata for a specific DriveItem using its unique identifier

### Make changes

It shows you what it is about to do and waits for your OK.

- Check In Drive Item

Check in a checked out driveItem resource, making the version of the document available to others
- Checkout Drive Item

Check out a driveItem to prevent others from editing it and make your changes invisible until checked in
- Close Workbook Session

Close an Excel workbook session without deleting the workbook
- Copy Item

Allows users to copy a DriveItem, which can be a file or folder, to a new location asynchronously
- Create Drive Item Permission

Create a new permission on a OneDrive drive item

How it works

## Three steps

Connect OneDrive

Sign in to OneDrive from the Connectors page. There is nothing to install.

Ask in plain words

Ask the assistant in OpenEmail. It finds the right action in OneDrive and runs it.

Stay in control

Lookups run at once. Anything that changes OneDrive waits for your OK.
